Justice & Peace Studies Special Alumni Visit

Justice and Peace Studies Alumni Lucy Prout (JUPS ’18) visited JUPS Professor Kelly Coyne’s “Friendship and Community in Media” course with her sister, Chessy Prout, to discuss Chessy’s memoir, “I Have the Right To: A High School Survivor’s Story of Sexual Assault, Justice, and Hope.” During the conversation, Lucy shared how her experience with Chessy’s story led her to the Major Justice and Peace Studies and then to pursue a PhD in Social Work at NYU Silver School of Social Work.
