JUPS Senior Stella Vance at the Global Social Justice Research Symposium

Stella Vance (CAS ’26), one of our JUPS seniors and one of the Education and Social Justice Awardees, presented her summer research findings on “A Pedagogy of Proximity: Student Formation in Identity and Mission Courses at Loyola University Andalusia (Seville),” in the Global Social Justice Summer Research Symposium on Friday, September 26, 2025.

This annual symposium highlights the impactful research of Georgetown undergraduates who spent their summer exploring pressing social justice issues around the world. Presenters shared their findings, reflected on their experiences, and discussed the broader impact of their research and contributions to a more just future.
